Overview of basic features of Webfodder Live Stats
Stats Home -
Go to Initial Configuration
Now that you have configured the access permission for your web stats you
can begin to view them and explore the features you have available to you.
(Your historical web site statistics will be available for one rolling year
from the time you begin accessing Webfodder Live Stats.) To view a
particular section of your web stats, simply click on the
sign next to the item on the left. That will expand a menu with several
items that you can utilize.
Hint: it is important to note that you can specify the date
range for the summaries on the left. Do this by clicking on the
sign next to Date Selection and then
specifying the following options:

Display by Day, Week, Month, or specific date range.

The actual date or date range you wish to view (selected dates are
indicated in red).

Number of detail items to display in the accompanying charts for
that date range.
Hint: once you have chosen your options, click
Update Report to refresh the current
display with those values.

The first section of your web stats is entitled
Tracking. One of the significant features in this section is a
real-time view of who is currently accessing your web site. (Note: this
feature is available at an additional monthly cost.) You can click on the
to get more detail about a current user's activities on your web site.
Hint: for this and all other sections of your web stats you can
click on the Help icon in the top-right
corner of the window for information and hints about the current view.

The next section of your web stats is entitled
Summaries. This section provides three standard reports that will
allow you get at-a-glance summaries of recent activity. Click
Yesterday, Last
Week or Last Month to see the
respective summaries.
Hint: these summaries do NOT utilize the date ranges you chose
above - these three summaries are "canned" reports that allow you immediate
access to recent history.
The next section is Usage by. This
provides various views of the information accessed on your web site.

The next section is Pages by, which
provides summaries of usage based on the individual pages within your web
site.

The next section is Browsers by,
which summarizes the web browsers used by your visitors. Ever wonder how
many people use Internet Explorer or Netscape or AOL? This section will tell
you that along with a host of other information.

The next section is Referrers by,
which details where your web site visitors came from to get to your web
site. This includes details about the search terms used to find your web
site and the search engines users found you on.

The next session is Sessions by,
which provides details on the unique user sessions that your web site
experienced during the specified period.

The last section is Settings, which
should not be modified.
